The ADRK eye colour chart is used at both shows and breed test worldwide. Dark eye is an important trait in the appearance of the Rottweiler, the colour should always be as dark as possible with 1A being the best. As the eye colour gets lighter it softens the appearance of a Rottweilers gaze taking away from the Rottweilers fearless expression. 1A-2B is considered premium breeding.
